Shabby Chic - A soft and minimalistic, with a feminine feel. {Thank you wikipedia} We have been greatly inspired by this theme, as well as the garden party trend that has been emerging throughout the wedding world. We decided to do it with our own Créme de le chic
flare, so we created a table-scape with some items from our collection. Enjoy! Our table runner was a damask pattern in sage green that I found at an AMAZING local wholesale fabric store. The backdrop of a nearby private estate provided us the perfect canvas on which to create this shabby chic, garden table-scape.
We created table numbers out of moss and leaned them over a stack of antique books. Old tins, tea pots, and circular glass vases held the assortment of flowers.
These old green goblets we found matched our table runner perfectly!
Lace napkins complimented the white china. We chose one with a woven pattern along the edges to add a touch of interest, but maintain the minimalistic feel. The beautiful and creative favors were provided by The Fragrant Ones. They create soaps and body care products infused with essential oils. For our Shabby Chic flower choices, we selected baby's breath, ivory roses, wild yellow daffodils, white stock, and curly willows for their beautiful soft and feminine qualities.
