After months of preparation, Nick and Cindy committed their lives to one another at an outdoor ceremony on May , 2012. They chose the riverside restaurant Canoe on Paces Ferry Road as their venue. They wanted both the location and the decor to set a "sexy and romantic" tone.
Cindy's unique floral selections in rich tones helped us accomplish her thematic vision. She choose a combination of tulips, ranunculus, larkspur, peonies,and hydrangeas- all in white. Her purple selections included anemones, lavender, mont aster, and agonies. Solidago and billy balls added touches of yellow, while green minou spray roses and green mini hydrangeas added delicacy to the greenery. This individuality made every floral decoration more interesting, from the largest arrangement to the smallest boutineer.
We took the dark purple and yellow blossoms and mixed them with moss and peacock feathers to create interesting arrangements, centerpieces, and aisle accents. We allowed the floral decor to add to the natural beauty of the venue; making the two alter arrangements slightly wild, the way flowers would naturally grow. The reception centerpieces included candles placed in the midst of moss, flowers, and peacock feathers giving the effect that they had been nestled on a forest floor.
